Suwanee Kiwanis to Host Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser

The Kiwanis Club of Suwanee will host their fifth annual Charity Golf Tournament on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Bear’s Best in Suwanee. The four-person Lauderdale tournament will also include continental breakfast, an awards luncheon and a variety of golfing contests.
The tournament is an annual fundraiser for the Club and assists in its efforts to benefit children and young adults. Among the local organizations supported by Suwanee Kiwanis are the Gwinnett Children’s Shelter, Dream House for Medically Fragile Children, Sheltering Arms – David Kistner Center, the Aurora Theatre Children’s Program, the Foster Children’s Foundation and North Gwinnett Co-op.
In addition, the Club has organized a scholarship program for Gwinnett high school students.
