The Eighth Annual Lloyd-Bennett Gwinnett Corporate Challenge kicked off Sun., Sept. 9, with a picnic game competition at McDaniel Farm Park, and continued on Monday with golf at Summit Chase Country Club and Tuesday with kickball at Bethesda Park.
The competition runs for the next two weeks, with a closing awards ceremony on Sept. 21. This year 17 companies are competing in 12 activities including golf, kickball, rock climbing, tennis, trivia, bowling, a 5K run, team building exercises, table tennis, laser tag, and sand volleyball. First place winners so far include:

Lloyd-Bennett Professional Services Group returns again this year as the Corporate Challenge’s title sponsor, along with other supporters including the Gwinnett Daily Post and Scientific Atlanta.
Monies raised from the Gwinnett Corporate Challenge go toward recreation scholarship that allow children, and now senior citizens, an opportunity to participate in summer camps, swim lessons, and other recreation classes who may not have been financially able to do so.
