Whether you are an ALTA or USTA player seeking to improve your game or join a good team, or you want to introduce the sport of tennis to your children, the Magnolia Racquet Club in Sugar Hill has expert instruction and a beautiful environment that will enhance your enjoyment of the game.
The Club was started eight years ago by its tennis director, Jeff Dudacek, who has competed on professional circuits in both Europe and the United States. After concluding his playing days, he spent eleven years as a tennis director and head professional at other clubs before developing the Magnolia Racquet Club. His excellence as a tennis coach and club professional was confirmed when he was awarded Georgia Tennis Professional of the Year in 1998.
The Club boasts a team of skilled instructors who teach youths playing at different levels and competitive teams that play in metro-wide leagues. With a panoply of soft, clay Har-Tru courts that minimize the wear-and-tear on players’ bodies, you can play frequently without placing undue stress on your knees or ligaments. In addition, the Club has a fitness center that is fully-equipped and offers yoga classes. Once you are ready to relax, you can enjoy the Club Room for a few beverages and a chance to watch one of the flat screen TVs.
In February the Club will be starting its regular ALTA camp to train for the upcoming season. This will be followed in March by men’s and ladies drills to help the participants work on their fundamentals.
The Magnolia Racquet Club is located at 1400 Buford Highway in Sugar Hill and caters to members who live Sugar Hill, Buford and the surrounding areas. Stop by to look at the Club or call (678) 482-2110 to learn more about the club. Make the most out of your love of tennis by joining the Magnolia Racquet Club.
