Norcross Soccer Academy’s (NSA) U10 Girls Breakers team wins the State Recreation Cup Championship

On May 20-21, 2006 Norcross Soccer Academy’s (NSA) U10 Girls Breakers team won the State Recreation Cup Championship in Columbus, Georgia.

The team shown is (top row) Assistant Coach Jeff Francis, Coach Andrew Collins, (2nd row) Lane Crawford, Colette Collins, Brittany Collins, Meagan Gaultney, Leanne Francis, (3rd row) Rachel Luttrell, Kimmy Varian, Arielle Silvers, and Tayler McPherson.

On Saturday, the Breakers team won both games against the Clayton County Lady Tigers 6-0 and the LSA Lady Jaguars 2-0. Sunday, the powerhouse U10 team beat the East Cobb YMCA Wolves 8-1, and for the victory played the CYSA Flash 9-1 to win the State Championship.

The NSA Breakers are two-time District III Champions under Coach Collins. Most of the players have been with Coach Collins’ team for up to four seasons or more. Many seasons of experience, dedication, and fun teamwork truly paid off in an ultimate experience the Breakers will never forget. Congratulations to the U10 Breakers, and good luck to the girls in their future soccer endeavors!
