Come out to Pinckneyville Park Community Center on November 17 for a night of dancing, food and fun as Dancing4Fun, a local dance organization, hosts a Latin Dinner and Dance Party that is sure to get your feet moving. A Merengue and Salsa lesson will be offered at 6:30 p.m. and the dancing starts at 8 p.m.

Both beginner and experienced dancers are welcome, and you do not have to come with a partner. For those who need a little extra help with their dance moves, Dancing4Fun will also host Swing and Latin Rhythm workshops that morning to teach beginner and intermediate level dance steps for the dance that night. The workshop schedule is as follows:

11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Beginner Swing
- Beginner Salsa

12:10 - 1:10 p.m.
- Beginner/Intermediate Swing
- Beginner/intermediate Salsa
- Ladies Latin Styling class

1:20 - 2:20 p.m.
- Beginner Cha-Cha
- Beginner Rumba

2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
- Beginner/intermediate Cha-Cha
- Beginner/intermediate Rumba 

If you are unable to attend the workshops that morning but still want to come to the dance, mini dance lessons will be offered throughout the event to teach simple Swing, Cha-Cha, Salsa, Meringue, Rumba and Bachata steps that can be used on the main dance floor.

The fee is $32 per person, which includes a four hour workshop, dinner and admission to the dance party that evening. If you would just like to attend the dinner and dance, the fee is $12 per person. This catered event will feature multicultural dishes.
