Unless you've been in a cave with no cable signal, it's not news that in this year's election, every vote counts. That's why Multi-Tasking Woman.com is joining with other women around the country to encourage every woman to make time on Tuesday, Nov. 4 to go vote!
"But I'm only one vote," a woman may say. But when women get together and get behind something they believe in, women get things done. With only a few weeks left, now is the time to join forces and spread the word.
NEVER TOO BUSY TO VOTE is a non-partisan effort. Multi-TaskingWoman.com is not supporting a particular candidate. The dynamic Atlanta-based women’s group just wants every woman registered to vote to get out and vote! “Let there be no excuses! Put it on your calendar now and make it happen,” says founder Kyle Young. To help spread the word, she has launched a companion site at www.NeverTooBusyToVote.com.
Start NOW and spread the word. In many states, you can vote early and miss the long lines everyone's anticipating. Or request an absentee ballot from your local elections office.
When women talk, things happen. NeverTooBusyToVote.com is calling on everyone who has a website or blogs, posts, twitters or chats, to spread the word to women across all 50 states. To make it easy, NeverTooBusyToVote.com offers online suggestions, links and NeverTooBusyToVote graphics. To get the conversation started, go to www.NeverTooBusyToVote.com for tools and information on this grassroots effort.
“We're enlisting help from all our friends to spread the word in the blogosphere, the media, personal email lists, etc., says Young. “We'd be honored if you'd join us!” For buttons and bumper stickers, contact her at 770-818-0022 or kyle@Multi-TaskingWoman.com.
A number of women’s groups have already joined the NeverTooBusyToVote effort, including: Janice Taylor – www.OurLadyOfWeightLoss.com, based in New York City; Stephanie Ross and Wendy Lutter – www.ThinkEmpoword.com, Minneapolis/St. Paul; Robyn O’Brien – www.AllergyKids.com, based in Boulder CO; Melissa Grossman – Hatch: www.FreshApproachCoach.com, based in France, Atlanta, Hilton Head SC; Angela Stalcup – www.CurvyLife.com, based in Atlanta, and Traci Long - www.LadiesWhoLaunch.com, Jacksonville, Savannah and Atlanta.
Multi-TaskingWoman.com is also conducting a survey to find out what women say is the top issue in this year’s election. Answer the survey at www.Multi-TaskingWoman.com.
