July 4 - Gwinnett Glows, 5:00pm. Daytime activities for this annual Independence Day Celebration begin at 5:00pm and include many free, family-friendly activities and entertainment. July 9 - Gwinnett History Museum Archaeology Group, 7:30 - 9:00pm. Archaeologist Jim D'Angelo will facilitate training in archaeological methods. This group will learn the assembling of basic field and lab tools and supplies including construction of screens. There will be testing and excavation opportunities. July 13 - Coffee-Ceilidh, 8:00pm. Live music! Debra Peterson will perform at the Gwinnett History Museum as part of the Coffeehouse Nights. Doors open at 8:00pm, music starts at 8:30pm. Starbucks coffee, drinks, and light desserts will be available for purchase. Alcohol and smoking are not permitted. Admission is $5 and $4 for museum members. July 21 - Grand Opening of Sweet Water Park, 10:00am. Join GCPR as we celebrate the grand opening of our newest park!
