Published Jun 26, 2008

“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” hosted by Emmy Award-winning host Meredith Vieira, and Netflix will join forces on Friday, June 27 in Gwinnett County to find contestants for the fourth installment of “Netflix Million Dollar Movie Week,” a specialty show which will feature movie-themed questions. Auditioners will also be given the opportunity to try out for a regular episode of the hit game show’s upcoming seventh season.

“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” can be seen in Atlanta on 11Alive (WXIA/NBC), weekdays at 4:00 PM.

Contestant auditions will be held at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament at Discover Mills Mall, 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville, on Friday, June 27 from 7:00–11:00 AM. Parking will be located near Medieval Times and the audition line will form near Entry #5.

“Millionaire” is also looking for engaged couples who would like to appear as a team in the hot seat for “Wedding Week” with Brides.com.

Contestants are also needed for “Famous Names Week,” a new specialty series that will showcase ordinary people who share their name with a famous person, “Halloween Week,” featuring Halloween enthusiasts wearing their best Halloween costumes in the “Millionaire” hot seat and "Three Generations," a new family series that will for the first time, allow a three person team -- grandparent, parent and child -- in the hot seat (all three team members must audition for this series).

Auditions consist of a timed multiple-choice test, and for those people who pass, a short interview with a “Millionaire” producer. Testing sessions will start at 7:00 AM, with the last session beginning at 11:00 AM. Those who pass the audition test(s) will be given a specific time to return in the afternoon (between 12:30 – 4:00 PM) for an interview with a "Millionaire" producer. Those interested in taking the audition test will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pre-registration is not required. Audition space is limited however, and will not be guaranteed to everyone who shows up. You must be at least 18 years old (except for the "Three Generations" series), a U.S. resident and meet all eligibility requirements to audition. Complete official rules can be found at www.millionairetv.com. You must bring a picture ID to your audition.www.millionairetv.com.
