Aurora Theatre has assembled the best children’s performers in the region bringing them to Gwinnett County to give parents and children the chance to experience a live performance. For the winter segment of the playhouse series, Aurora has some old friends performing shows new to the playhouse and their first-ever interactive children’s concert.

The Children’s Playhouse Schedule for January -February 2008 is as follows.  Please note that all shows are at 10 a.m.

1/26/2008 -- Grandmother’s Birthday -- American Kasper Theatre

Kasper has been saving all year to buy his grandmother a nice present for her birthday. However, the old witch of the forest has other plans for Kasper's money. Audiences will learn The Kasper Song to sing for grandmother and participate in the show as they help Kasper along his way. American Kasper Theatre is the only Authentic Kasper Theatre in the United States. Kasper Theatre is traditional German Glove Puppetry featuring beautiful hand-carved wooden puppets.

2/2/2008 -- Aesop’s Fables Lee Bryan - That Puppet Guy

As the timeless teachings of Aesop leap to the stage, you’ll experience the depth of human drama...the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat...or maybe just have a little home spun, family fun! The race between the Tortoise and the Hare is seamlessly woven throughout the tales of The Lion and the Mouse and The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

2/9/2008 -- The Singing Storyteller -- Eric Litwin

Eric Litwin is a guitar strumming, banjo picking, song singing, story telling, five time national award winning, two hundred performances a year giving, song writing, CD producing, fun folksy type of guy. You don’t want to miss him.
