'Turning & Burning' Kiln to Open at Crocker Pottery

Everyone is invited to the Turning & Burning Kiln Opening at Crocker Pottery, located at 6345 West County Line Road in beautiful Lula, Georgia, on Saturday, October 6, 2007. This is a great fall excursion, and the pottery is outstanding. The event features a big pottery sale which begins at 11 a.m., and regular pottery hours are 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
And...back by popular demand, Pigs will be the special feature.
Fresh out of the kiln will be various Flint glazed, Tobacco Spit (Wood Ash) and new Bristol glazed wares. Guests are invited to choose from whimsical face jugs, grape decorated pots, buggy jugs, verse pots, jars, churns, miniatures and much more.
Also on-hand and for sale on this special occasion will be antique Georgia pottery, Meaders Pottery, Ferguson, Gordy and other area potters' wares.
